2026 UAW Elections

It is election season, and not only for the U.S. midterms, but also throughout the UAW.  Postings for Local General Elections are ongoing.  The call letter for the Thirty-Ninth UAW Constitutional Convention has been sent and will be held in June 2026.  After the Constitutional Convention, the process to elect candidates to run for UAW International Office in 2026 will begin.  Below is a tentative timeline for International Elections:

• Late August 2026: The first formal mail distribution of mail-in ballots will be distributed to the electorate
   
• Early October 2026: Deadline for all ballots to be received by the designated U.S. Post Office or Postal Facility
   
• Early October 2026: Ballot tabulation and vote count (location TBD)
