Sub-Pay Payout Issue

We were just informed by our Sub-Pay group that the auto-sub from the State of Michigan did not trigger our 2nd week of Layoff Benefits. This will affect over 230 of our members who were on layoff for the week ending 12/1/2024. The bargaining team has reached out to the International’s Sub-Pay group and requested they manually put in everyone’s Sub-Pay in lieu of filling out the paper Sub form. The members affected by this delay should see this 2nd week of sub pay in the week ending 1/3/2025 pay period. 

It was also indicated our Local had several members who did not report proper holiday pay and will be receiving a letter from MI-Unemployment. This is a personal reporting issue and will need to be resolved with Unemployment by the identified members before Sub-pay benefits will be paid. Anyone who had a manual Sub-application submitted because of earnings from another job or insufficient wages should receive payment on schedule. Please watch your paystub to ensure payments, if you are not paid by 1/3/25 please contact your Benefits Representative.
