UofM Dearborn Center for Labor and Community Studies
The University of Michigan Dearborn Center for Labor and Community Studies organizes training and seminars annually. While these are not UAW conferences, they are certainly beneficial to our members, and we encourage members to attend. Some worksites may have provisions in their collective bargaining agreements that could offset some of the costs associated with these educational opportunities. The upcoming conference is the 2026 Black Men in Unions workshop. We try our best to post trainings here and also on our social media, but we may miss a few.
