The 2023 March on Washington: Not A Commemoration, A Continuation

This year marks the 60th Anniversary of The March on Washington for Jobs and Freedom. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. and other notable Civil Rights and Labor Rights leaders organized the pivotal March on Washington in August 1963. The 2023 March on Washington: Not A Commemoration, A Continuation; will take place on August 26, 2023, in our nation’s capital. The March on Washington would not have been a success without the involvement and leadership of the labor movement. The UAW was a key supporter of the march which was a rallying cry for greater economic and racial justice. The UAW is still in this fight today! Program: 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. March: 1 to 3 p.m.
